“Think of it as a recital,” says Craig Martin, founder and producer of Classic Albums Live. We approach the music with the utmost respect and care, and deliver exactly what we promote, “note for note, cut for cut’ accuracy.” I’ll have 10 incredible vocalists and musicians on stage faithfully re-creating Dark Side of the Moon. We’re excited for an amazing night of music in Clearwater.”
“This will be a show to remember,” says Martin. “This is the one album in the Beatles catalogue that people keep coming returning to hear. From start to finish it’s an absolutely perfect record and we’re going to treat it with the ultimate respect.” Legendary songs such as “Come Together,” “Something,” “Octopus’s Garden,” and “Here Comes The Sun” will be performed, followed by performances of additional hits from The Beatles’ amazing song catalogue.
Anything but a cover band, like a symphony orchestra performing the works of Mozart, Classic Albums Live forgoes the gimmickry of costumes and impersonations, putting the music first. These world-class musicians tackle iconic music, concentrating solely on re-creating it as you remember it from the original recording. The attention to detail is staggering – every sound from the album is re-created live on stage by world-class musicians assembled for each album presentation. As many musicians as it takes to faithfully re-create each recording are used for each album presentation, no matter how complex the album may be. For example, even the alarm clock sounds in the intro to Dark Side of the Moon’s “Time” are replicated by the musicians on stage.

Just the name ‘Abbey Road’ makes you think of another time. A time when music mattered. These days new music doesn’t survive. It’s gone by lunch. ‘Abbey Road’ saw the Beatles let go. It was their swan song album. They wanted to make something that would last and end their legacy with grace and cool.
No other album picks up a full head of steam like ‘Abbey Road.’ Despite their splitting up, the lads beckon us to ‘Come Together’ right from the onset. And they crescendo and say goodbye with kiss of philosophy that not only stands the test of time, but tattoos itself onto our hearts: “And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make”.
When Classic Albums Live performs ‘Abbey Road,’ we go deeper than just playing it note for note and cut for cut. We’ve had that part down for years. We go deep. We go into the album and fuse our DNA with it. There’s a beauty that needs to accompany every performance of ‘Abbey Road.’ I can say without reservation – that Classic Albums Live has found that beauty and takes the greatest pride in sharing it with everyone at the show.
