VIP HOSTESS/FR CONCIERGE

Our VIP/FR Concierge Team is looking for hostesses with a positive, outgoing and charismatic personality to cater to our VIP Clientele and Founders Room Members. Our hostesses objective is to check them all in upon arrival and escort them to their proper destination whether it be at one of our 12 VIP Boxes located within our Music Hall or a Private Room/Table Reservation located within our 1920’s inspired Member’s Only Club. The Paramount’s mission is to build, maintain and strengthen our VIP/Member Services Relationships.

USHER

Job Description:

Welcome and engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after the show. Provide customer service to all guests, visiting artists, management, and any other member of the public or administration they may encounter. Expected to carry out any other job function management deems as appropriate and within the scope of caring and maintaining for the theater, customer service, audience experience, pre-show prep, and post-show breakdown. These jobs include but are not limited to bathroom attendant, coat check and chi master.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking and creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute management instructions
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying

COCKTAIL SERVER

Job Description:

Serve food and beverages to guests in a nightclub environment with a cheerful attitude. Provide fast excellent customer service and a memorable experience for all guests, including VIP Founder’s Room members and their guests. Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs in a timely manner. Answer guest questions, make recommendations, be a positive presence and available to all guests looking for drinks.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishes, point of sales systems
  • Ability to deliver drinks, and maneuver trays through large crowds
  • Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent (TIPS)
  • Clean spills, remove food, trash or other obstacles from section/boxes using proper lifting techniques
  • Prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
  • Ability to work late hours, flexible schedule


BARTENDER

Job Description:

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guests in a music hall atmosphere with a cheerful attitude and in an efficient, professional manner. Provide fast excellent customer service and a memorable experience for all guests, including VIP Founder’s Room members and their guests. Cultivate regular guests and repeat business.

Requirements:

  • Fast paced knowledge of bar service/food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishes, point of sales systems
  • Handle multiple orders at once and deliver drinks in a timely fashion to all customers with a positive attitude
  • Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent (TIPS)
  • Clean spills, remove food, trash or other obstacles from section/boxes using proper lifting techniques
  • Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
  • Prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • 1-2 Years experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work late hours, flexible schedule


BARBACK

Job Description:

Responsible for the maintenance, stocking and cleanliness of the bar, and all other functions which increase the efficiency and productivity of the bartending team. Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Handle side duties including: stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers, including lifting/moving up to 25lbs.
  • Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent (TIPS)
  • Clean spills, remove food, trash or other obstacles from section/boxes using proper lifting techniques
  • Prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • 1-2 Years experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work late hours, flexible schedule


BOX OFFICE REPRESENTATIVE

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preferred skills in customer service, phone etiquette, cash handling, & multi-tasking.
  • Use Ticketmaster software to sell tickets, & print will-call.
  • Ability to communicate, work well with others, work in a high-volume and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Process opening and closing paperwork.
  • Answer phone calls with prompt and courteous attitude.
  • Give information on future events, opening acts, ticket prices, VIP upgrades & more.
  • Greet guests attending events.
  • Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity, using criteria such as color or date issued.
  • Maintain superior customer service both in person and over the phones.
  • Distribute Will Call on show nights.
  • Have a positive attitude!
  • Keep a clean, well-groomed appearance.
  • Knowledge of talent and entertainment is a plus.
  • Flexible hours are preferred. Our Box Office is open 7 days a week from 12pm-6pm, with extended hours until 9pm on show days.


TICKET SCANNER

Responsibilities Include:

  • Properly check tickets and direct guests as they enter the theater.
  • Operate ticket scanners, printers, and other equipment as needed.
  • Provide excellent guest services by greeting, directing and assisting guests in the lobby.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide event and venue information as designated.
  • Check guests admission tickets and direct appropriately.
  • Minimum 16 years of age.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate, work well with others, work in a high-volume and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Attention to detail, quality and accuracy.
