So You Think You Can Dance Season 12 Tour will feature this season’s most memorable routines as well as original pieces created specifically for the nationwide tour. The tour is an exciting experience bringing a variety of sizzling, one-of-a-kind dance routines from the audiences’ living rooms to The Paramount stage.
“I am thrilled with this season’s new Stage vs. Street format and the brilliant, fresh talent we have discovered. These dancers have inspired the choreographers to create remarkable dance numbers each week, truly showcasing individual talent. I am excited for your favorite dancers to bring their inspiration and routines to even more cities on this year’s nationwide tour,” stated Nigel Lythgoe, judge, executive producer and co-creator of the hit FOX series.
One of the talented individuals who will be touring is Long Island’s own Megan “Megz” Alfonso. As a Coram native, Megz dedicated her life to becoming a teacher and choreographer and will be marking her homecoming at The Paramount show by earning her way to the Top 10 finalists of So You Think You Can Dance. The once determined Long Island girl has become an inspiration to dancers nationwide and The Paramount is proud to showcase one of its own this coming fall.
