The Paramount partners with Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot
 for an extended concert commitment

Huntington, N.Y. (Monday, March 7, 2016) – The Paramount in Huntington, Long Island, New York – the 11th highest attended* club venue worldwide (*Q3 2015 Pollstar Magazine) – has announced a partnership with Mike DelGuidice and Big Shot to bring a consistent schedule of live shows to Huntington in 2016 and beyond.  Celebrating the music of Billy Joel; Big Shot has already performed to sold-out crowds numerous times in 2015 at The Paramount, and as a result, the venue has made a commitment to bring Big Shot back to the stage as often as schedules will allow.

Confirmed for 2016, the stay of shows with Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot: Celebrating the Music of Billy Joel will play live at The Paramount Friday, April 22nd,  Friday, June 24th and Saturday, August 27th with more dates to be announced soon.  All show times will be at 8:00 PM with doors opening at 7:00 PM.  The Paramount will announce the exact Ticketmaster on-sale and pre-sale dates / times for each of the next shows in the coming weeks.

Mike DelGuidice, currently the backup vocalist and guitarist for Billy Joel, is excited to announce this long term partnership.  “Our band has found a real home for the band’s music at The Paramount and it’s the perfect place to continue the legacy of Billy Joel’s music on Long Island” he exclaimed.  “Billy Joel and Long Island are the perfect marriage and we look forward to putting on the best live shows as often as the venue will have us” he concluded.  DelGuidice performs across the country with his band, many of whom are current members of Billy Joel’s band.

“Big Shot has really struck a chord with our venue and we know how much Long Island loves Billy Joel” remarked the Paramount’s Directors. “We are glad to have Mike & Big Shot perform at The Paramount regularly…when not on tour with Billy” they said.  With Billy Joel having performed at the venue himself in October 2013 – which is commemorated with a plaque on stage – and giving the room his “seal of approval”, The Paramount is proud to have his music as part of a consistent booking in our calendar of events moving forward.
