ARTIST BIO

Whether you were lucky enough to see G N’ R in their heyday supporting their debut album, in all of their grandiose indulgence on the Use Your Illusion tour, or in a performance by the 2000’s era lineup (billed by some as “Hired Guns N’ Rose”) in support of Chinese Democracy, all fans of Guns N’ Roses are welcome to celebrate the music that revitalized mainstream rock.

Appetite for Destruction, the ultimate Guns N’ Roses experience, have been performing the music of Guns N’ Roses for almost twenty years, selling out venues throughout the northeast.  They have performed with special guest and current G N’ R keyboardist Dizzy Reed, shared two bills with ex-G N’ R guitarist Gilby Clarke, and headlined at BB King’s in Times Square for five consecutive years.

Appetite delivers the definitive Guns N’ Roses show, performing all the hit singles, rock radio staples, and G N’ R fan favorites with acute attention to detail, serving as both outstanding lookalikes and sound-alikes for the legendary band.  Their catalog of Guns N’ Roses songs is unsurpassed, as is their nearly two-decade-long career of bringing G N’ R to the masses.

You may not get to see the entire classic Guns N’ Roses lineup live, but you can surely get your Guns and satisfy your appetite for all things G N’ R with Appetite for Destruction.

Rob Pfeffer as “Axl”

Growing up with music around him all the time, Rob has always been a huge fan of Guns N’ Roses.  Along with his successful original band, he has toured all across the U.S. and commands the stage like a road-tested veteran.  For all the Howard Stern fans out there, Rob is the voice of many of the song parodies produced by Dan the Song Parody Man.  With one of the most accurate Axl voices you will ever hear, Artie Lange even said, “It sounds too good to be Axl Rose!”

John Ricotta as “Slash”
Guns N’ Roses is John’s favorite band of all time.  He has the Gibson Les Paul, the Marshall stack, the top hat, and the shredded blues chops to emulate Slash’s unique style, attacking each note with the utmost reverence and accuracy.

Mike Ficalora as “Duff”
Mike has been playing bass for over a decade, and lists Guns N’ Roses as one of his greatest influences.  He started out as a guitarist in the metal band Disillusioned along with AFD band mate, Andrew, but when the opportunity arose to play bass with Appetite, he did not hesitate.

Andrew D’Amato as “Izzy”
Andrew’s passion for the recorded guitar work of Izzy Stradlin’ and Slash is unmatched.  Like many other fans of Guns N’ Roses, Andrew is aware that the intricate nuance of Izzy’s style is one of the more underrated and overlooked aspects of Guns N’ Roses, as is how the two guitarists’ styles blend so uniquely.

Shawn Callahan as “Steven”
Shawn grew up a huge Guns N’ Roses fan and was a perfect fit for Appetite.  Behind the kit since age three, and raised on some of the same influences as Adler himself, Shawn brings the swing and manic energy that GnR’s catalog is built on.

My favorite tribute ever. They turned us on to tribute bands and it's been a blast every time we see'em. For the price you can't get more out of a concert!

This is what I call a tribute band... The closest thing to seeing GN'R!! From the collective band look, individual attires, hair, accessories, voice, tone, moves, etc... It was true to classics! I sent a short video clip in my phone to my very knowledgeable music friends with the subject - Reunion!!! And they all believed it! Favorite moment: Rocket Queen Live! Also Knocking on Heavens Door was led just like Axl would with getting the crowd to sing at the end!
