The always entertaining Dan Aykroyd plays the role of Elwood Blues, while the beloved John Belushi starred as the lead vocalist, Jake Blues. Together, the hilarious duo went on to have two platinum albums and produced the classic film, “The Blues Brothers,” but tragedy struck on March 5, 1982 when John Belushi died of an overdose at the young age of 33. Twenty-two years after the devastating passing of John the show continued its legacy with a twist. John’s younger brother, Jim Belushi, has picked up where he left off starring as long-lost brother Zee from South Memphis. Together, Dan and Jim continue to perform as The Blues Brothers in honor of the late John Belushi, allowing Long Island to have a chance to interact with them live for one night only on January 21st.
