Allen Stone is deeply devoted to making soulful music that transcends all pop convention. His debut for Capital Records, Radius, pushed his boundaries of comfort unlocking a whole new level of creativity. Radius is a perfect blend of edgy soul-pop, earthy folk-rock, a throwback to R&B and Parliament-inspired funk. Stone explores intense personal matters leading his fans through his journey with each song.

“I absolutely believe that if you’re going to stand at a microphone and say something, you need to recognize that as a privilege…really put all your heart into the message that you’re sending out into the world,” said Stone who shares the same message as his special guest Bernhoft.

Bernhoft has captured audiences with his impressive looping skills as a one-man-band and the Norwegian retro-soul singer/multi-instrumentalist has found his music taking on a deeper meaning. On his new album, Islander, Bernhoft created a lighter atmosphere that allows his listeners to be enveloped in the same joyful mood that imbues the soul of “Islanders.”

“It’s almost like I was saying, ‘Hey, come on board, I’m gonna take you for a ride and hopefully for the next hour you can forget about your troubles.’ That’s the kind of album I most want to make,” said Bernhoft.

On November 15th Allen Stone and Bernhoft will create a night of soulful and uplifting music that will have audiences leaving their troubles at the front door. Come to The Paramount to eat, drink, dance and feel like an “Islander” in more ways than one.
